Description

Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filaments are known for their ease of printability, smooth surface finish, and water resistance. TPU is a Glycol Modified version of which is commonly Thermoplastic polyurethane used to manufacture in caster wheels, automotive instrument panels, sporting goods, power tools, medical devices, footwear, drive belts, inflatable rafts, and a number of extruded film and sheet applications. TPU is also a good material to be used in the outer cases of mobile devices such as tablets and phones. It is a semi-rigid material with good impact resistance, but it has a slightly softer surface which makes it prone to wear. The material also benefits from great thermal characteristics, allowing the plastic to cool efficiently with almost negligible warpage. 3D Master Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filaments are compatible with the entire FDM machine like Creality, Flashforge, Prusa, Anycubic and Qidi. TPU is an outstanding elastomer with toughness and durability, and is a great thermoplastic that bridges the gap between plastic and rubber.
